EVE to Demonstrate Hardware/Software Co-Verification Platform at 41st Design Automation Conference in San Diego, Calif.
Zebu Family Used To Accelerate Development, Verification Process
Of Soc Designs
SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—May 25, 2004—
Emulation and Verification Engineering (EVE) will demonstrate ZeBu
-- or Zero Bugs -- hardware/software co-verification platform during
the 41st Design Automation Conference (DAC) in Booth Number 4027 from
Monday, June 7, through Thursday, June 10, at the San Diego Convention
Center in San Diego, Calif.
ZeBu is used to accelerate the development and verification
process of system on chip (SoC) designs. Unlike traditional field
programmable gate array (FPGA)-based prototypes, ZeBu's standard
offering includes fast setup time and sells for less than five cents
per application specific integrated circuit (ASIC)-equivalent gate. It
gives system engineers and software developers early access to
cycle-accurate SoC models running at MHz speed to integrate drivers
and operating systems.
ZeBu also benchmarks software applications before silicon
availability. By validating the embedded software ahead of silicon,
ZeBu reduces time-to-market pressures for electronics products.
